no.i’m perfectly sane
Diddy - an adjective. Describes strange or extraordinary behaviour. Came from rapper P Diddy who got accused of, well, it was all over the news.
Blud - a noun. Synonymous to bro, vro and other brother-derived words.
Unc - a noun. A short for “uncle“.
Oh I thought it meant something worse…
I do wonder if we’ll have a similar amount of hype for 2.0.0 or will stuff be more toned down…
If only they had that bot on the forums…
2.0.0 will take way less time or so I’ve heard to probably not
I mean it will be the point we move on to the 3D stages so it could still be pretty major.
I think the aware stage will be the easiest to develop because it’s essentially just the macroscopic stage but more complex. The environment rendering will be the same and all that, kind of like how the multicellular will be fairly easy to make because its building off of the microbial
On the other hand it was said that macroscopic by itself will only explore non-brained organisms up to the cambrian period, so for instance trees wouldn’t be a thing before aware.
What about the Ascension stage? since no new mechanics besides powers have to be developed.
I think some tools in it wouldn’t have been added before unless in some kind of a dev mode
On the contrary, the macroscopic stage will most likely be the most exciting, because this is the transition to 3D and the macroscopic organisms we are accustomed to, something everyone has been waiting for for a very long time.
It will also take quite a long time to develop, as a huge amount of work will need to be done on creating a 3D editor, animations, mechanics, environments, etc.
(Perhaps you meant “2.0.0” as a aware stage, not a macroscopic.)
At the same time they’d not be quite like the creatures of spore yet at that point for instance…
Yeah I meant 2.0.0 as the aware stage. I checked again and 2.0.0 is macroscopic
3.0.0 might be more calm since aware and macroscopic are pretty alike…
Isn’t 2.0.0 the Multicellular stage?
Maybe they mean what development starts for after a stage-completing release?
1.0.0 is the multicellular stage
Since the 0.X.X era is the microbe stage, I suppose this would make sense. Though it should be remembered with time some development will stick to the “finished” stages.
Oh. I was thinking of each version as the extent to which stages are complete, and since none are fully complete, that’s how the 0.x.x version number made sense to me.
