Should we even have a very deep system for politics? I don’t really know, but I feel like societal organisms deserve as much love as biological ones sometimes. Also, sorry if this was a bit all over the place, I was not thinking a singular train of thought while writing this.

I also think with the amount of time at hand we should have easily enough resources to craft a well-representative system that mimics what happens in real life well.

And no need to apologize for necroposting. Its common enough. My first post necroed a topic 2 years later (and in the 15 months since, it has gone from 3 posts to 306). A good idea is good even if it is late to the conversation.

This also allows for anti-society/black markets, an illegal unofficial undocumented interest group with power over local elections through intimidation tactics or something…: the mob! Yakuza or Mafia or whatever can exist, and they could descend from guilds if guilds are banned in favor of unions, or they could come from knights belgiumed at the law after having royal privledges stripped, or they could come from peasant uprisings who started developing illegal power after legal power was denied, or something much weirder making the game more memorable and interesting
