Probably, though it’d be mostly to detect ripples in the water and ish, since the reason I got it is since the main “habitat” of the Reponae currently is water currents, where it’s sail makes it very fast with little cost and (if I get it) it’s kinetofimbria can also help it sustain itself for longer while inside since it wouldn’t even need to expend energy to move it’s cillia to make energy via kinetofimbria, the water current moving it’s cillia for it basically. Thus, having kinetoreceptors with which to sense nearby water currents seems like they’d be very useful to make sure it can get to a new water current as quickly as possible for this species if it’s to survive without getting any actual way of getting food beside the free-floating compounds (I’m going for the special quest).

Y’know, I just realized that the rules said you couldn’t do a sex vote if you’ve done one the turn prior after the 10th turn. I’m not sure how I had misunderstood it, but for some reason I thought we couldn’t do another sex vote if we’ve already done one during the first 10 rounds and could only do more after round 10 instead. Welp, that’s a whole lot of wasted mutations, too bad.
