conformitygate is hilarious because likeโฆ itโs the same thing as sherlock and every other stupid show. Someone gets it into their head that the show is good, and then reality clearly disagrees. When conservatives get the same brain worm they tend to assume an evildoer is stopping the writers and start sending death threats to random people who have nothing to do with the writing, but for some reason i will never understand, people who ship men with men (there are many maybe better terms which i could perhaps use but i wont) become convinced itโs on purpose somehow. I wonder about how other kinds of people would react, because itโs actually a rare phenomenon, you need a show people can actually get stuck with, and those donโt really exist for political moderates or lefty folks who arent obsessed with men. I rewatched season one of stranger things recently and itโs extremely good, but mostly because of how different it is to season 5, and even seasons 4 and 3. Like i enjoyed 3 & 4, but 4 is completely ridiculous and 3 is still a bit much. 2 idk iโll rewatch it soon.

i wasnt proving a point i was observing and being interested by how people are. Im genuinely curious what would happen if like, moderate liberal moms got as convinced a show was good as people have become with stranger things. Like i want to know. the world is political and sometimes i just describe things how i see them instead of jumping through hoops. If this offends peopleโฆ idk i guess your soul is not filled with whimsy and curiosityโฆ sorry. I try to avoid saying mean or untrue things but i genuinely donโt understand avoiding the words left or right or whatever.

this is the worst humanity has to offer, i doubt me using a word or two i wasnt supposed to will corrupt the forum any more than half the videos on here, the only transgression is saying it on the forum instead of linking to someone else saying it. This leads me to a hilarious idea where we link to pastebins of our arguments to discuss forbidden topics like the words g a y or n a z i or u n d e r w a t e r s m e l t i n g

probably i just dont think to myself about sharing massive examples of failure. I may at some point but like, mostly i think failure is mean to pick on unless itโs evil, and most examples of evil i find are deeply political and i do have limits for what i think is forum appropriate.
example that doesnโt count as political thoughโฆ:
honestly i wouldnโt watch either theyre long and sad iโd watch everything else acerola makes, his work on godot compute shaders is fantastic, itโs largely because of him and sebastian lague that i can write any shader code, and these days shader code is one of my favorite things to write. (while im praising youtubers for being good at teaching shader stuff, i have to bring up freya holmรฉr, i took too long to get subscribed to her, but she also has some really good stuff about the math of shaders and other game design stuff.)

Valvian sounds like a sci-fi word.
Man, that reminds me of Westworld. Season 1 was insanely good, but Season 2 was terrible. It seemed good at first, but the writers decided to give Maeve godlike powers (to reprogram other robots wirelessly) for no reason or explanation even though Season 1 stated that everything she did was pre-programmed meaning she was never in control of her own life, she only thought she did. They also made the black hat man (Ed Harris) go crazy for no reason. They made that dumb authoritarian writer root for Maeve, which makes no sense as sheโs always condescending on others including him. When Ed Harris went crazy for no reason, I just stopped watching the show completely. Man, that was
