I am rather sure giruses/giant viruses are still not all that well understood and only infect eukaryotic cells, which could make their introduction rather strange for the player and perhaps the biosphere too. Also viruses are not on the roadmap and with how the developmentβs been going, there wonβt be time to add such a large feature in anytime soon.

Maybe one day, viruses from the Overhaul mod will be added to Thrive. Or someone updates the mod.

While I am sure later later stages will have some representation of diseases/viruses, the odds of making viruses that can be seen as a microbe are pretty low. Also, I donβt think tjwhale is around anymore to respond to that.
Was overhaul the aaronmkersh mod that added lots of stuffback in a day?
