A save which when loaded shows this issue would be extremely helpful in seeing the problem happen.
So after getting the save I was able to see the issue. The condition that triggers the problem is that your oxygen resistance is greatly reduced due to the hydrogenosomes. When the game calculates those tooltips it first creates a âperfectâ tolerance stats and then applies one set of changes at once to generate the individual tooltips. However when that perfect tolerance is actually âperfectâ due to the organelle debuffs, that causes each of the tooltips to think that thereâs a problem.
Iâve made a bugfix where the perfect tolerance calculation should be perfect again by taking the organelle debuffs / buffs into account to slightly shift the calculated perfect values so that they are at the intended end result when organelle tolerances are applied:
If you have enough debuffs it is possible for a slider that is at 100% to still not be well adapted.
p.s sorry for the double post but I think Iâm entitled to make this as a post as I spent over an hour investigating and writing a fix for this bug.
I have a feeling this could create a âdangerousâ predicament where people start using increasingly petty reasons to doublepost/multipost in the threads they made because they put âsignificant effortâ (which would be hard to prove/disprove that it was [in]significant) into these posts.
Also I presume MeghalayanAge shared the savefile via a PM, correct? If so, if they havenât already, they should have also shared the save from their âpatch-select-when-many-extinctionsâ there.
I will allow one double post per bug fix sent by that person.
