Donβt jellyfish revert to a younger form then grow older then revert to a younger form then grow older again and again, re aging?

Oh right, well then I think lobsters were the ones not to age.
Sentient species finds a creature that could be used to stop aging. The same sentient species decides to farm it for food. Sounds about right.

I mean, the anti-aging stuff is still here to be used whenever the species unlocks the capabilities of transferring it from the creature to the sapient.
The animals that can live forever
It says that lobsters never stop growing, needing to create bigger and bigger shells as they out grow the old ones, and eventually shedding and regrowing there shell becomes too energy costly for the lobster, so itβs technically not immortal.
A scientifically advanced species might find a way to remedy that though.

So I guess it would work as an anti-aging solution for people if it were to be somehow transferred into their bodies (as humans donβt have to worry about their nonexistant exoskeletons)?
Cybernation: Develop a species that transfers there consciousness into cyber space for long periods of time (like requiring life support or hibernation long periods).

Global Hanza: Develop your civ into a trade league and have it control all ports of the inhabited portions of your homeworld in society stage
Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? - Make a bioengineered version of your species, but they are indistinguishable from the non-bioengineered members of your species. They do have one difference: they are implanted with false memories, and when they use these false memories, they react differently than a regular member of your species.

I have no mouth and must scream: Get doomed by an AI your civ created (and have the AI keep around a few specimens of your species for some reason)
