How would one transport a BH to such a place? Remember that they’re quite heavy…

Remember. Remember. The 5th of November. - Have your species wear Guy Fawkes masks similar to those worn by V in “V for Vendetta” while they oppose an oppressive regime.

You’d use an artificial one. Honestly now that I think of it you’d need a tiny one. You want a disk no larger in diameter than a moon or it’s gravity will ruin the flat planet vibes, so it’s no heavier than a small moon. If I recall the earth would be roughly marble sized if crushed into a black hole, so honestly our counterweight black hole would be larger than a particularly large sand grain. You could move it by gravity, I believe. I’d look up people’s ideas for moving black holes tbh, and if you use a charged black hole you have some better options. All based solely on known science.

Well gravity seems like the best option of all, but you can only get so close to a BH before it rips any such BH-moving device apart.

Can the game even do that?

Not sure, unless you make planimals occupy the flora niches.

Wouldn’t moon-sized terras quickly become uninhabitable?

I suppose that’s part of the callenge, maybe these worlds have a particular propensity to form with large and deep cave systems, leading to you spending most of the playthrough underground while the atmosphere is stripped from the surface
