Alternate History of the World

The humans build more infrastructure, and they see shooting stars from their towers. They noticed that one shooting star only seems to be getting bigger…

The South American traders arrive in Africa. They trade their crops with the guncrabs, and manage to return home safely. The guncrabs are interested in the new lands from which the traders came. They have also expanded into middle africa, displacing the caudels already living there

The South American squids are finding it difficult to collect all of the crops they need to trade, and are looking for a way to get more manpower

The American caudels travel south into South America, living among the cities of the squids

Humans expand their range onto America where there is lots of forests and such.

The crabs continue to trade, and the squids try to have better relations with them.

The bioluminescent sharks diversify into many different species with one beginning to evolve a saw like mouth.

The caudels, seeing West Africa calm down, move in between the cities. The guncrabs take note of this

The South American squids wish to expand their crop production to facilitate more trade, but are already at the limits of their manpower, and need to find a way to get more workers quickly

The bioluminescent sharks expand their range and continue to diversify with some of them being able to leap out of water for more than five seconds.

The humans develop the first philosophers.

Some human philosophers are persecuted and exiled, and they travel across the ocean to the squid settlement in South America.

The sharks’s have learned a more efficient way to move on land than just flipping around.

The sharks evolve leg like fins and also become more amphibious when they learn that the food on land is much more plentiful than underwater.

This shift in the sharks food source leaves more for the fish in the ocean, causing populations to boom.

As the sharks continue to stay on land fishes grow to huge sizes and diversifying into many different species. Some are even evolving flight.

The Middle Eastern cities spread westwards, and construct cities in much of the Mediterranean

The guncrabs hire shipwrights from the South American traders to secretly construct warships

In South America, someone creates a mechanical device that can harvest crops. It still requires animals to provide power in the form of pulling it along and turning the wheels

The sharks officially evolve flight and leave the fish fill the hole of the apex predator of the sea.

Some fish evolve to be as big, fast, and strong as sharks
Other do their own thing like releasing a renewable venomous tooth to kill their prey.
