Are NPC cells capable to become eukaryotic?

Like, i never see any eukaryotic NPC cells whenever I play so I’m just wondering if they can evolve Into eukaryotic cells

They can become nucleated, it just requires luck and time. In the next release they should become more common of a sight.

Like aah said, it’s technically possible, but to be fair very rare right now. There’s been already been an internal change to auto-evo that makes them much more common, so you will be able to see that in the next update.

They are most common to see around vents and caves since they have a monopoly on the radiation miche.

They tend to be far more common when doing playthroughs with higher mutation rates, and if you don’t move around to too many biomes (since larger cells like Eukaryotes tend to die more easily when they are actually simulated during gameplay).

And also since then your eukaryotic lineage wouldn’t just (immediately) replace theirs
