Spaghetti towers. Cells connected to each other with a pilus that lets compound exchange between the different cells and prevents the structure from collapsing.

I don’t think that multicellular organisms on a scale this small will need specialized structures to keep them from “collapsing” underwater.

at most they’d need something to grab a rock and a cell wall to get to ~500 cells tall, assuming they’re average sized cells and not like a milimeter or an inch across
