Biorobotics in Awakening Stage

Would some level of biorobotics be possible in the awakening stage, or even in the late aware stage?

Some level of tech-bio hybridization is obviously very plausible, given how such an arrangement is found so centrally in our very species, amongst others to a lesser degree. But, would/should this extend to more complex systems, like mechanisms and such?

I’ll move this to the space stage discussion as this seems like technology us humans don’t have yet (or isn’t so useful yet that is in widespread use), so this is scifi space stage based on the title and looking at biomechatronics page on Wikipedia.
