I know, that is apparent, It just seems that it would be a easy thing to model considering I have the normal pilus to look at as a reference.

Do you plan this to also be a harpoon pilus thing or just a 100% regular one except it has barb(s) at the end to hook onto stuff?

I think such a model would actually get implemented since there have been talks about adding the nematocyst organelle for multicellular for years now

It’s an organelle primarily used by the cnidarians, you can read about it on wikipedia

I think that’s the dinoflagellate one, cnidarians have a structure under a different name

I feel that cnidocyte just sounds cooler.

At the same time the organelle has been historically referred to the most common as nematocyst in the dev circles i think
