In order to change (increase) oxygen resistance (to) more than 10%, you need to place oxygen-related organelles (such as metabolosomes or mitochondria) onto the cell

The mentioned 10% resistance can be changes in the tolerances tab of the editor

Maybe eventually adding bioluminescent proteins, the prokaryotic version of bioluminescent vacuole, could be another way for Players to deal with trying to increase Oxygen resistance?

Indeed not a bug.

What you need to do is place cell parts that have oxygen resistance. Notably, metabolosmes/mitochondria, which are also more useful the more oxygen there is!

Admittedly, right now the UI in the editor does not show tolerance effects right now. But this will be fixed in the next update.

This is definitely something I want to do, just waiting to have a model for it.

Would biolum proteins become a prerequisite for biolum vacuole?

I think having them work similarly to other prokaryote/eukaryote pairs would make sense.

Maybe a bit unrelated but shouldn’t normal vacuoles be prerequisites to lysosomes and biolum vacuoles? Or would that make the game too tedious?

Or should they put under vacuoles, and be modified to be become lysosomes and bioluminescent vacuoles?

I feel like that’d make them harder to discover for new players
