I’m trying to temporarily uninstall a bunch of apps and the launcher is one of them. I uninstalled all downloaded versions of thrive but I can’t find the uninstall tool. Both Program Files folders don’t have anything related to Thrive, it doesn’t show up in the app list, and the AppData doesn’t have the tool. The file search shows me an uninstall tool but it leads nowhere.
Could someone please give me the precise location of the uninstall tool? Is this a bug or did I just miss it? Thank you.

That’s strange, as the launcher itself should be located within that Folder, alongside the uninstall tool, in the “Thrive Launcher” folder.
It’s probably a problem where the uninstall file has been deleted before it was used to uninstall the Thrive Launcher.
If you use the launcher installer again to reinstall the launcher, it should then properly show up in the list of programs and have the uninstaller properly registered.

I’ve been in that position with many apps unfortunately, much sympathy. Window issues imo. Decent package manager fixes that for the most part.

So, elysianstorm, did the advice of redownloading the launcher to get back the uninstaller work?
(Sorry, power lines went down) No, but I found a work-around.
I first re-installed, which didn’t do anything new, and then I deleted all files/re-installed. At that point I decided to just delete all the relevant files via the File Explorer search, which technically worked, though it isn’t a great solution.

Hmmm, so reinstalling doesn’t solve this issue, that’s truly strange…
