Have there been any plans to create a short (5 generation limit) demo version of thrive that could be used in museums and schools to teach kids about evolution?
but Thrive is free already

True, but a demo version used in museums alongside exhibits on evolution could have the added affect of not only helping educate people about evolution, but also make more people aware about the game as well.

I put it as demo/ museum version so it isn’t too restrictive, but I would mainly expect it to be used in museums for kids to simulate evolution (kinda)
Thrive is open source, so it could be plausible for someone to make a demo version

I’m sure that would be possible. I wouldn’t be able to do it as I have no coding experience.
