So there will neither be organelle unlocks?
Will there be different βgradesβ of nucleus that can be evolved?
So like parakaryote nucleus and such?
That, and/or like this.
I donβt think we need more than 3 of those phases
Perhaps I could make it an upgrade system (where you gradually get the nucleus instead of all at once) where you keep adding more parts of the nucleus until you have it. This would also have the effect of making the transition form prokaryote to eukaryote more gradual.
Would each upgrade allow you to place in more eukar organelles?
Would make sense, which is why Parkaryotes seem to be an important transition state versus βmodernβ/regular nucleus.
So maybe Circular DNA > Parkaryote Nucleus (without ribosomes) > Regular/modern Nucleus (with ribosomes)?
I think we need a bit more confirmation THE one parakaryote that was caught wasnβt by any chance an artifact
Perhaps. The organelles might use somewhat of the same system as the nucleus, which could be subverted via endosymbiosis to get them early.
This seems good. It will still be a bit before it gets added though.
Do you plan the endosymbiosis to work the same as in thrive?
We can also bookmark multiple posts with suggestions.
Or maybe make some sort of an interactable part on the edapt site where suggestions could be submitted?
Iβll look into that soon.
You seem to know a bit about designing websites?
Also how much does it cost to upkeep the edapt website?
It costs nothing because I donβt feel like paying for anything right now. I have spent no money at all int he development of Edapt.
So the website is up for free?
Yo big Flag, could you add back the controls that were when the settings were first added? the βesc/enter to go backβ, and maybe even more like βR to reset after deathβ as theres virtually no way to even figure out that these do anything (except mashing random buttons)
Should that be in the settings?
I donβt even know when I removed those, but they are necessary, so Iβll probably add them back or replace them with buttons.
