What round did it become colonial
Round four
Filler text
cha’s is actually a prokaryote that can fuse with others of it’s species but cannot split apart and reproduces via gametes
you will get two rolls and the highest one will be picked then
if you decide to not use a roll you get advantage on a roll of your choice and you can use up to 3 mutation slots for this
Oh, willow, I changed my mind, here’s my submission for this turn:
Name: Chomavestis portokali
Attempted Mutations: Cold tolerance, movement caste gets flagella, budding, chemosynthesis of sulfates
Description: At the macroscopic level, Chomavestis portokali appears to be a orange mat hovering a few millimeters over the seafloor. At the microscopic level, they are thermosynthesizing organisms that consume substrate and debris, and can consume attacking cells.
Original Habitat: Hydrothermal vents
New Habitat: Substrate on and around hydrothermal vents.
Diet: Debris such as sand, fallen particles from the vents, dead organisms, and organisms that get consumed. Heat gradients when possible, but it’s a backup energy source.
i said you do not have to spend mp on castes or you make it 4 extra traits that are not in all of your cells
caste dice chart:
1 = opposite of what you wanted
2 = -1 pop
3 = nothing happens
4 = what you wanted
5 = what you wanted but 2* better
6 = what you wanted but 4* better
Okay, I’ll spend the MP to give the movement caste flagella.
I updated my submission
@everyone i have re-balanced rolling a 6 for mutations and added a new dice chart on post 1 please look at them if you are playing
@Topcode please finish doing the population math also i do not want the pop math done by me to stay
round 7 has finished
round 8 has started
you may now control one member of your species per round
Can I control the entire mat or just a single cell of the mat?
i think we need to nerf mutation counts u have like 700 mutations thats too many
name: Primium leleia
attempted mutations: a second large vacuole and fixing of metabolism that is not functioning in the cell, nuclues and fixing the adults can’t fission after mating
description: Leleia has two state life mobile Young and fussed mating allow for a solid number of Young begin released after the death of the adults
new habitat: hot spring in epipelagic
Diet: Sun using the thyakoid in the body, sulphur and smaller organism
from now on nucleus gives advantage on every roll with each nucleus (up to four) giving 1 extra roll on every attempted mutation instead of x2 mp
Remind me but gametic repoduction adds +2 mutation?
i thought your species started producing gametes after reaching a certain size and lives as a mat
Name: Chomavestis portokali
Attempted Mutations: Budding, chemosynthesis of sulfates
Description: At the macroscopic level, Chomavestis portokali appears to be a orange mat hovering a few millimeters over the seafloor. At the microscopic level, they are thermosynthesizing organisms that consume substrate and debris, and can consume attacking cells. They are immune to most biotoxins, sense temperature, and turn iron from the substrate into energy using Rustacyanin.
Original Habitat: Bathypelagic vent floor
New Habitat: Cold Seeps
Diet: Debris such as sand, fallen particles from the vents, dead organisms, and organisms that get consumed. Heat gradients when possible, but it’s a backup energy source.
for round 8 ima go for gametes, and colonies of bacteria
and i wanna see the sun again cause yeah
you control the whole mat
Oh no they were asexual until the fission and then fussed adults
wait, @TristanMisja you technically should be extinct now, you failed move
