cannibalism gives you mp based on your current population starting at 1000 and increasing by 1 for every 1000 pop
dice rolling is starting now
Just to let you know, my speciesās genus name is wrong, it should be Chomovestis instead of Chromavestis
i just remembered that nucleus gives double MP so everyone who has a nucleus use it
Like a slime mold but bright Orange?
@Topcode @TristanMisja @sci0927 iām going to sleep but round 6 is starting
@Cha i want your submissions for rounds 2-6
How do castes work? Does adding a new caste cost a mutation point or is it different?
Alright well, I think For 6 I wanna move up another patch to sunlight
and also get chloroplasts, mitochondria, fix vacuole, and get toxin resistance
Good night, willow! Letās continue tomorrow
Also, wow is your species powerful, mine might need to adapt
@willow
I did send my species before I went to sleep so idk if it did anything but you can find it in 21 message
There have been five rounds since then. Go check the spreadsheet to see what happened. You need to do it for all of the rounds so you can play when willow wakes up.
Yeah one min i just woke up
Alright! One more thing, since youāre I think you should post in #introductions.
Round 2
name: Primium oeytan
old habitat: Volcanic floor
attempted mutations: Normal metabolism (Allowing it to eat something else alongside sulphur) and Dubble layer membrane
description: Taking on the colour yellow from the sulphur this cell looks pretty close to itās old shape but with a Jet allowing for movmenet (and somehow ATP production)
new habitat: Move more up from the floor to find sources of untouched sulphur or glocouse (If it canāt move there it will just spread into the volcanic open ocean)
Round 3
name: Primium lecys
old habitat: (Somewhere above the sea floor or volcanic sea)
attempted mutations: Larger stores of Mucillage to spew against any predetors attempting to eat it and a inactive Thylakoid
description: Growing sliglthy larger due to itās uncontested food source these cells use their jets to dart or ensnare small prey
new habitat: (If they could move up then this one contiune it but if it canāt then it moves wider range in the volcanic ocean)
Round 4
Name: Primium crabko
old habitat: Either open ocean or somewhere in the volcanic ocean
Description: The Crabko is more streamlined looking longer then wider then it used to when it still didnāt need to worry about active predetors
attempted mutation: Nucleus and faster reproduction
New habitat: none
Round 5
Name: Primium dican
old habitat: Open ocean or Volcanic Sea
Description: Dican have grown accustomed to Fellow Dican and use a the Jet to comfirm if they spot another Dican instead of a predetor (This can be abused against them)
attempted mutation: Fission-Fussion colonial and Cilias on the sides to move up and down instead for side to side
New habitat: Ocean surface
Round 6
Name: Primium chuleais
New habitat: None
Attempted mutation: Split into two species (If this doesnāt count or work Iāll change it to two chemoreceptors) and Gametic reproduction
Desricption: A long-thin species compare to their ansectors they still contain their old sulphur metabolism but can still survive without it also begin no longer skittish has allowed it to see it kin without thinking itās predetors though they do spew out the Mucilage around them to dart away in case something disturbs it.
If anything seems like it wouldnāt work just inform me and Iāll change it
Should have it covered now
do you mean for respiration because your cell is already using monosaccharides(specifically fructose) to produce ATP itās just breaking them down with sulphur
Yes (though idk if that can co exist)
your cell is using glucose(produced in your sulphur metabolosomes) to make mucilage and the sulphur metabolosomes use fructose produced in your metabolosomes that you rolled a 1 on
@sci @TristanMisja i need your submissions to start rolling the dice unless you want to be skipped
name: capsilarus umbras
attempted mutations: thermoplasts, sulphur respiration vacuoles, tube running through the cell and out both ends, extra nucleus, closed frustule at maximum size, current generating cilia in the tube, toxin vacuoles to digest food in the cell, toroidal nuclei.
description: a thermoplastic sulphur respiring cell with two toroidal nuclei around a tube that runs all the way through the cell, this tube never gets a silica coating and has a current going to the back of the cell because of CG cilia in the tube
new habitat: bathypelagic vents
diet: everything that fits in itās tube
template
name:
attempted mutations:
description:
new habitat:
diet:
i have realized that polynucleation + gametic reproduction = too many choices so i have decided that polynucleation bonuses will not work if you have gametic reproduction
name: Industria interfectoremsuci
attempted mutations: more potent poison, vacuole.
description: an orange, venomous cell with a vacuole
new habitat: none
diet: anything lower than me on the food chain
Wait so If I understood correct my cell runs on sulphur to break it down and the other thing trying to produce by not using Sulphur just failed correct?
Just adding this here as a edit so I donāt waste space by typing another letter.
So two questions now Iām not a expert on sulphur but what is a closed sulphur respiration cycle (Because I can figure the large water is the attempted nuclues.
And number 2 did the venomtooth try to intergrate the Primium insidiae? (mostly want to know bc thats interesting)
