By the time the world is ready for it, there will probably be many different sea plants and many things eating them. If a predator tries to evolve earlier than that, it most likely will not have enough prey. After that, idk depends on the species.

If everyone goes extinct will we reset to the start?
There will almost always be another species to switch to upon your own extinction. If all life on the planet goes extinct, then we will have to make a part 2.

Will you make the period names and stuff?
I am planning on rolling 2 20 sided dice to decide the event.
I will most likely condense what goes on in a period into one word, and then put it through google translate into Latin to make it sound cooler and more unique.

As fast as possible. At most once a week or maybe 2 weeks, but I hope for 2-3 times a week. The next round it most likely tomorrow.
