I want to go back in time and cause the extinction of that LITTLE INSECT.

How can you be sure it was the only such species at that time?

I will cause the extinction of ANY SPECIES resmbling a mosquito.

Besides these, any other lineages you’d like to eliminate?

No, at least not as much as mosquitos…

Hm. When did you find out about the feathered dinosaurs?

I found out about them thanks to TierZoo, when I stumbled across his raptor video.

How many years ago was that?

Around 2 years ago I think… Not really sure, though.

Thankfully more people are realizing the feather revelation as the time goes on.

After all, it’s simple. Many people imagine reconstructions if dinosaurs based on bone alone. But if we did that for a baboon, it would look horrifying. So, a logical assumption would be that dinosaurs had fat, lips, gums, etc.

I know, but until the outdated dino visions stay prevalent, this view will remain in the minority.

It’s all the fault of Jurassic Park for making scaly dinosaurs and not feathery ones…

The fallout of that decision still lurks in the dino realm of science…

Tyrannosaurus had great eye sight. Jurassic Park really sold some serious misinformation.

Sometimes, I wish the asteroid never hit and Troodon became the planet’s civilization.

I wonder if in the future JP will remain remembered for how inaccurate it was…

I wonder what other dinosaurs could have become sapient? Or other ancient creatures, for that matter?

In general on Earth intelligence of species increased over time, so the β€œsentient lineages” like hominids or corvids only emerged rather recently. That being said, I remember I read somewhere that T. Rex-es for example might’ve reached the intelligence level of Baboons, though obviously we don’t have any living specimens to confirm that.

Could you find that article again?
