Game Crashing on Launch (macOS)

Steam version on Apple M1 running macOS 14.7.3.

Canโ€™t see any files when I view logs from the launcher but text of error from launcher and from computer are here: https://pastebin.com/print/w9qgVyAU

Attempted to uninstall and reinstall game but was not able to successfully start it.

Does it help if you upgrade to Sequoia? You are technically one OS version too old to receive any updates or support.

It would be very useful to get the actual game log. Is the Thrive Launcher just empty after the crash or does it show something? If it shows something, thereโ€™s a button to copy the current log output to the clipboard.

I just updated my operating system but it went all the way to 27.0 Golden Gate which seems to be one too far because now I see โ€œFailed to start process for this game: OS Error 0โ€

Could you downgrade the thing 1 version then, if it is even possible? Although since this is a new release of a major OS Iโ€™d presume Itโ€™d be playable by the next Thrive update.

Thereโ€™s unfortunately no usable info in this.

There was recently another Mac user who had a problem starting the game, and for them it got fixed when they reinstalled Rosetta and Steam:

And if that doesnโ€™t work for you, trying to run the Thrive.app directly could lead to a different kind of error that can provide extra information on the situation.
