Creative combo - Dominus + Initial wealth = Ultimate Takeover - Able to turn another player into a puppet dungeon in a complete victory.

Name: Alpha Horus | Tao

Starting location [back to original augment]: Cold desert

Theme: The Gray realm - a world of gray, colorless and blind where things are not the most visible thing, like death, but with the comfort of the pleasantness in it before death. So you can say that this is a place similar to limbo but comforting.

Positive:
1. An area without absolute gravity, allows wider movement within the area (or in other words, lowers the cost of construction)
2. area without rot. Nothing is able to rot and decay. Less resource loss

Negative: 
1. It isn't easy to navigate between the place's walls, it slows everyone down.

Chemistology:

Thoughtform: Swarm intelligence

Membrane compound: Magunoids

Cladding walls: Souls - consists of dead souls that want to be used as building blocks for a dungeon.

    Advantage: Fast construction, Easy design

    Disadvantage: Hard to get, needs sacrifice.

General look of the units: A long body with many arms and a head full of hands, seems to be covered in iron armor.



A combination of both

    Advantage:
Natural armor - they are more resistant than normal to damage

    Disadvantage:
Slow - they are relatively slow
Lore

A collection of fragments from dungeon cores that failed to take root, united in a natural way from what was created between the soil, the first representative of a locally resulting dungeon core.
The first to wake up, but also the slowest, during the last era before the initial appearance of the real dungeon cores (other players), there is another area that serves as the bridge between the world and another and more mysterious place - the gray realm - the place where death is only a stage for continued existence .
The essence of his existence stems from the presence of the Alpha Horus core - the true name of the core, but along with that, he is unable to create those creatures that naturally form within this space. That being the case, he appears dormant within the deserts as a mysterious form of gray orb.
It was there for ages while the realm continued to develop for him quietly, until someone found him among the sands.
The power of the core is equal to the power of a relic, I will tell you a thing that finds it because of two things:
The first is that those who believe in him receive more potential stored within them.
And the second that it serves as a bridge to the strange space, where death is comfort.
The words of its existence were heard around the place while the discovery was still being made, but the power of the core was for the whole period dormant. Even with this discovery and the knowledge they managed to distill from the core, its location and power became just a legend among everyone and disappeared into history about a legendary relic lost to time.
Until suddenly, together with the true dungeon cores awakened and managed to root, Alpha-Horus awoke and turned to him only one thing:

“God’s messengers” - the core of the bridge of life and death.

And when it did, it finally got its local name - Tao.

Core name: Ishtar
Dungeon/Territory name: Mamu Ki (dream Earth)
Origins: 2 Voidborn, 4 Eternals, 4 Soulnets
Augments: Necromancer, Abyssal, Quick Ripening, Regeneration

Theme

Mamu Ki is an expansive cave system, with some sections’ cave walls appearing more regularly-shaped, being carved to resemble a simple yet elegant architectural style most would recognize as ancient sumerian. Crystalline structures resembling Lapis Lazuli are scattered throughout the caverns, being especially present in the “carved” regions and the “ceiling”, these crystals glow, dimly illuminating the caves below with a blue hue, and water seems to condense and fall from them out of nothing, causing constant yet very light rains which pool at small lakes or well-like structures in "carved"regions.

Advantages:
1-Easy to defend
2-Endless supply of water and construction material

Disadvantages:
1-Dimly lit, navigation is difficult

Chemistology

Thoughtform: Individuality

Membrane compound: Siliconoid

Cladding walls: Metal, Bronze specifically
Advantage: decently tough and malleable yet easy to find, as far as metals go
Disadvantage: the same metal is used for units, so the material must be split

General unit appearance: stone golems in the shape of blocky humanoids, with cuneiform and decorative patterns carved on their bodies, and adorned with bronze and the same glowing lapis-like crystals that adorn the cave ceiling.
Advantage:
Efficient, being used to working in the narrow caves of Mamu Ki, they can make the most of limited resources
Disadvantage:
Undexterous, as golems composed of simple geometric shapes, they struggle with small movements

Lore

Abandoned by mankind, the many gods that settlend in Sumeria, the so-called land of a thousand gods, withered and died, but one clung on to hope: the goddess Ishtar took the souls of the dead Sumerians which were still loyal to her, and fled Earth, eventually taking up residence and a new form in this new world, and “transplanted” the souls of her followers into stone bodies, becoming the first of her golems.

Out of curiosity, given the name “dungeon cores” , I must ask, did you get inspiration from the HFY story “the survivor becomes a dungeon” ?

I think the whole idea is that the dungeon cores are some sort of ancient beings who are sort of “sentient dungeons”, with the Cores being the vessels inside of which resides their sapience.

but one thing - Gaia is unique only to the augment “Back to original” and is impossible to choose unless using that, and that remove the others of the origins, soo I think if u don’t use that, replace that with the other 3.

I missing there the “Creative combo” (that 2 more augment that combine to one with unique new augamtn that combine the 2)

other then that, ur good to go!

alright, I’ll replace Gaia then; as for the creative combo, I’ll come up with it later, can I just pick whatever augments I want for it or do they have to belong to my origins?

U can choose anything that belongs to our origins or from the General augments (as long as they are not from the ban list).

I assumed the whole dungeon cores thing was inspired by those dungeon keeper games.

You are not wrong, I agree with your opinion that this is the source - the computer game “Dungeon Keeper” and the classic DnD games are probably the inspiration for modern dungeon cores.

Dungeon Core

Origin: Creators 5, Voidborns 3, Unrealmy 2

Augments: Metamorphosis, Tranbelgiumation, Ethereal Depth, Non-Dimensional Bio, Creative Combo: Spread + Home Guard

Core Name: Uranes

Territory name: Neocorea

Theme: Territoties under control of this DC have large “snowflakes” floating around, made of tough material, in various shapes like squares, crosses, triangles, hexagons, etc., these slowly merge together and turn into large, floating platforms which can carry a lot of weight without falling down to the ground. Besides these, those areas also exhibit strange, dark blue glow from the air…

Positives:
1 - Passively creates floating platforms
2 - The “Snowflakes” make it harder for unwated visitors to move

Negatives:
1 - Growth of the floating platforms must be observed and maintained, or else there is a large chance that they will develop defects, making them useless or even hazardous.

Chemistology:

Thoughtform: Individuality

Membrane Compound: False Golems

Cladding Walls: Floating Platforms
Advantage: Floating, Tough
Disadvantage: Slowly obtained

General look of the units: They look like floating Isocahedrons, emiting a weak glow of white color. By using metamorphosis, they can attain new parts, made from the same material as their core, which stick to their Isocahedran bodies, allowing them to gain new abilities. They community with each other by using sounds most entities cannot hear. Each has an unique personality.
Advantage: Can Fly
Disadvantage: Large (they are roughly 6 meters wide, meaning they are usually easy to spot and cannot fly into small spaces)

Lore

An unspecialized dungeon core was laying deep in the soil, long before it would emerge. Suddenly, something seems to have changed it, causing it to rapidly develop these characteristics we see in it today. As this dungeon core, now changed by the incident, eventually woke up, it realized that, after giving away it’s power in order to save the previous world in which it resided, it’s soul was sent far away, perhaps even to a different universe or dimension. It still remembered how it made the previous world after mysteriously awakening from wide void, and it decided to improve on it’s previous iteration. This dungeon core swore to not end up having it’s creation suffer from their brothers like they did in it’s previous attempt. It also remembered it’s long-lost name, so deeply burried in it’s mind that for a long time it thought that it didn’t ever have a name at all - Uranes.

It’s not hard to tell where this character is from…
