How do I upload my mod to the Steam Workshop?

Now that I actually got Steam, I figured I may as well upload my mod there. However, I am confused on how to do that. Do I need the Steam version of Thrive?

Edit: ok, I can now confirm that I also have the Steam version now. Maybe I’ll upload my mod, although I have plans to make it better. So I may wait for that.

Yes. In the Steam version there is an “Upload” button in the mod manager in the game. That opens a popup menu where you can select a local mod, set the various details about it that are visible on Steam and then hit upload.
