How do I log into the development forum? I am confused because it won’t let me use my username and password here to log in.
I am fairly sure developer forum and community forum are two different separate forums, which is why accounts on one doesn’t make an account on the other (if I understood your question correctly).
It’s dev only, so better start writing that application to join.
Edit: Nevermind you’re a dev. I just didn’t see the title next to your username.
Well, the email said that they wanted to see some of my work, but I might be an art dev idk yet.
So you are not a developer yet, correct?
I don’t so but I showed them some of my work in an email today so hopefully they will get back to me soon.
Not sure how fast does the application process actually go, but that’s your best hope I suppose…
Yeah, I’m really hoping it doesn’t get put in their spam folder.
With you being here, the chances of that should be vastly lower than if you didn’t make an account…
I just got trust level one, what is that?
It unlocks more forum functions for you after you’ve done some things in this website.
Oh, that’s cool! I’m going to check what I can do.
I think it’s stated somewhere what does each trust level give
I can now fill out my profile , cool.
Also you do check every point the TOS makes, right?
What’s the TOS? I haven’t heard of that acronym.
Terms of Service, says what you cannot do here for instance. The Ruleset.
Oh, I get it now! I will check that too.
Hopefully nothing will stand out of line in it for you…
The development forums are separate from the community forums. Only people who have been accepted to the Thrive team will get accounts to use the dev forums.
This split was made even before I joined the team. But basically the thought behind that was that when the developers can talk in a separate space, that makes the development of the game much smoother. Because here in the community forums anyone can join and post their wildly unfeasible ideas for the game. So having separate forums shields the development process from being bombarded by low-quality ideas and “idea guys.”
