Am I the only one who didn’t know that Eukaryotes could evolve without you needing to become one yourself?
I don’t know if this is something newly added but I was surprised when I saw this because this is not the first time I played 20+ Generations as a prokaryote.
That’s been a feature in the game almost as long as bacteria have been a feature so many years. It is just pretty rare so it isn’t often that you see it.

Ok. Thanks for the answer.
Nuclei are already basically impossible to use as a player cell, so it’s not surprising that eukaryotes rarely evolve. But they can.
Hopefully, new and improved Auto-Evo which splits the player species more often will mean that eukaryotic play no longer involves being the biggest fish.

Yeah, the new miche autoevo does really seem to upkeep more eukaryotic species than it used to. I wonder how will this relate to the multicellular autoevo tho, as here having a few independent branches evolving it separetely might be needed to create a recognizable environment.
