I'm "new" here

It is a placeholder for an actual editor system that will be made later, but here it is:

It’s not classified, so here are some of my ideas:

Playersight: Seeing from the eyes or sensory organs for the entire game up to the start of the Civilization Stage. This does not just apply to the 3d macroscopic organisms. Chemoreceptors are planned to have the same effect as eyes but for the Microscopic Stage. In case you’re wondering how you could possibly see from a 2d organism, what I plan to do is use retracing or something to scan the 2d environment for anything that the chemoreceptor an see, and project it onto a 1d line stretched vertically to fill the whole screen so that we can actually see it.

Stage Before Microbe Stage: I plan on eventually adding a stage before the Microscopic stage which could either be called the Protenoid Stage, Nanoscopic Stage, RNA stage, or Archaic Stage. It will be all about forming the first cellular life from almost nothing. I have no clue what the game play could be like though.

Rejected Thrive Ideas (and other unrealistic stuff): Thrive has rejected a lot of stuff for being too unrealistic, which is fine for thrive because it follows it’s design philosophy, but I don’t plan on exuding things because of realism. While the game will try to be decently realistic (not perfect because it doesn’t need to be, as Thrive exists), any unrealistic stuff will be able to be enabled through a version of the LAWK toggle with multiple states. Such ideas include life on barren planets and gas giants, UNDERWATER CIVILIZATIONS, hyperspace travel, magic, and the multiverse.

The game will have 5(or 6) stages (The names are pretty self explanatory. The stage names are simple because I find stuff such as “Awakening Stage” to be confusing):

Nanoscopic Stage

Microscopic stage (Microbe Stage and Multicellular Stage)

Macroscopic Stage (Macroscopic Stage and Aware Stage)

Civilization Stage (Awakening Stage, Society Stage, Industrial Stage, and Space Stage)

Multiversal Stage (Ascension Stage?)

That’s about all the ideas I have right now, and it will probably be done by 2060!
