I find it kind of weird you can like a species/type of creature the most and yet know so little of them…

A few people joined between that january intro thread and this intro thread, it’s just that people do not always make intro threads upon joining, since I think discobot or the forum overall doesn’t tell them to do that.
For the amount of joiners it does seem pretty low when compared to the great user wave this forum experienced in 2021-2022, though it’s not like drought levels of low I think.

Perhaps they should update the F&Q thread (or whatever else people read when they are new) to suggest making an introduction thread.

Probably the aftermatch of the pandemic and perhaps an increase of interest in Thrive during the 0.5.x releases.
I also forgot to make an intro thread btw

Apparently in the developer forum they have already made a list of youtubers to contact so I would certainly not be surprised if in late 2026-2027 we would see a new user wave, which would certainly along (mostly with the later) with the increase of sales and patreon members be of great use to the developers
