I have been wondering this for a while , what impact will everything that happens in the microbe stage have on later stages. Like how much will the cells effect creatures in all the stages. And once the world becomes more dynamic in the microbe stage with ressources changing. How much will this affect the world on later stages.

The plan is for earlier stages to keep impacting all the later stages. How big the impact is or what exactly they are is not exactly fully planned out.
