What has changed with your strategy? Because there haven’t been any balancing changes specifically to slime. Though incidentally the storage and a few glucose using organelle changes might impact your strategy.

Anything to influence the mucus affairs might’ve “fixed” this strategy if something was wrong with the influencing factors…
The mucocyst strategy was to install a mucocyst and slime jet. You’d then go ridiculously fast and be able to continuously jet. This was very unbalanced.
It seems to have been nerfed, possibly accidentally. I needed two mucocysts to achieve the effect, and I didn’t seem as fast. I don’t know if it was something to do with different cell sizes. It could have been, although I don’t know how cell size would modify how much mucilage you consume while jetting.
It shouldn’t influence the amount of mucus used per slime jet use…
