Turn 12

Turn 12 Summary:

800 million years after the formation of the Phyade I system, an unknown planetary mass object began to distrupt the Phyade I system’s Kuiper Belt via orbital resonance. This caused numerous icy rock objects to collide, creating clouds of dust in outer reaches of the Phyade I system. Many of these icy rocky objects were thrown out, or sent careening towards the inner Phyade I system. The Phyade I star system was entering The Late Heavy Bombardment, putting an even greater test on life. For the next several FG turns, instead of a 10% chance for a Meteor to hit any biome, three Meteors are guaranteed to hit across the surface of Treerila. Which three surface biomes will be hit shall be determined via RNG; each surface biome will be assigned a number (1-8), and three numbers will be randomly picked at the end of the turn.

However, this is not the only change to the Treerilian-Xanrillon-Xoruta system. Life of the Thrivium Order Clade on Treerilia will be tested further with Ph and Salt shock. Ultramafic rocks erupted from the First Great Plume Eruptions erode much quicker than Basalt, or any Mafic rocks. The high erosion of these Komatiite rocks on the surface is resulting in high fluctuations of local Ph and Salt concentrations. 10% chance of happening every turn, and affects all Land biomes. Environmental shock randomly happens during a microbe’s turn while playing via RNG timer; when Ph and Salt shock transpires, the organism is immobilized for 30 seconds.

And that is not all (does anyone else feel like a salesperson when reading this sentence?). Additional secrets hide beneath the waves of Treerilia’s oceans. Primordial Continental crust, Intermediate in nature (35-45% Silica), is basked in the darkness of water. Like most of the Aluminum-Depleted Komatiite (ADK) Large Igneous Provinces pushed up during the First Great Plume Eruptions, majority of the pieces of high-silica Basaltic Andesite (~57% Silica) Primordial Continent crust will not survive in the Geological Record several Billion years from now. Eroded and recycled, back into the planet from which they came.

Cablevenian Tidepool

The Cablevenian Tidepool is slowly changing, like everything else on Treerilia. The Oxygen content in the local atmosphere is reaching high levels (~15%), making this sanctuary more inhospital as time goes on. A large crater is now located there, courtesy of the previous meteor.

Revita Superstes (Mutant 55) of the Burnillo genera clade had lost its Thylakoids, meaning it was dependent on Glucose and UV light for ATP. Desperately looking for clouds of Glucose, the organism sprinted along, despite the -2.5% Oxygen Tolerances. The organism did not come across any other organisms its journey for survival. In its path, Revita Superstes came across large clouds of Ammonia and Phosphate, which helped to decrease its reproduction time. And then came the Ph and Salt shock one minute and fifty-one seconds into its turn. Fully immobilized, all Revita Superstes could do was wait until conditions improved. Fortunately, currents pushed the organism into a cloud of Glucose.

Chemelookie obscura (Mutant 56) has lost the Cytotoxic Toxisome, giving the organism less ATP, and tipping the ATP balance out of wack. While the obscure organism did not have to deal with Toxisome recharging damage, it did have to deal with damage from a temporary lack of Glucose. And this was not the only issue. Chemelookie obscura then came across a group of Revita Superstes (Mutant 55), and had to run away and dodge their Cytotoxins fired at it. Just as the sulfur-loving organism’s enemy left, Ph and Salt shock set in, just fifty-eight seconds into its turn. Another group of Revita Superstes (Mutant 55) came by, attacking another member of this particulat mutant. More Cytotoxins were fired at the immobilized organism, but Chemelookie obscura could get out of the predicament at the last second. Only to find itself stuck within a confluence of multiple currents. In end, the organism was able to survive.

Chemelookie fumes (Mutant 57) of the Chemotillo genera clade was most similar organism to its ancestor, Chemotillo melanocookie (Species 64). Unlike all of the other organisms, this was the only one currently on Treerilia to have a different Organelle Turn Reproduction Order. Like its fellow member of the Chemotillo genera clade, Chemomelookie obscura, it had to deal with some damage fron a lack of Glucose. This was more severe for this organism, due its larger size. The organism was running on fumes when light from the Phyade I star shined on the Cablevenian Tidepool, saving it from doom. Unfortuately, its sibling cell ran into a group of Revita Superstes (Mutant 55) and started firing its Cytotoxins at them. Fortunately, the group of other Toxic cells was far enough away that the shot missed. After swimming against a strong current, Ph and Salt shock set in two minutes and ten seconds into its turn, pushing the organism all the way in the direction from which it came. It noticed a Revita Superstes (Mutant 55) eventually dying due to firing its Toxisome too much.

Banana Biome

The runic Banana Biome, being mysterious as always, was the only biome spared of the Meteor onslaught. Life barely clung on, as only two species were left there. While the surviving members of the Delta Family Clade diversified, there is still danger. Improper Pressure tolerances are starting to compound with the increasing local Oxygen concentrations (nearly 6%).

enakerbalia-jebus mesoa (Mutant 53,54) of the Burnillo genera clade had lost its Toxisome. Fortunately, it did not encounter any other organisms in its journey for resources in the Banana Biome. The Kerbal inspired organism also had a Hydrogenase, which was usefull, and a Thermosynthase, which may be useful in another biome. Unfortunately, the combination of Hydrogenase and other organelles meant enakerbalia-jebus mesoa had a -2% Oxygen resistance, making it even more difficult for the organism to survive. It did not help that a current swept it in a Northern direction. When the organism encountered another current, it managed to find refuge within the nook of a Banana-shaped Large Iron Chunk. Then, it had to endure Ph and Salt shock one minutes and thirty-six seconds, or right after finding the Large Iron chunk. Beyond this, the organism found a dead zone, where no resources were found. Beneath the shine of the mysteriously Banana-shaped moon, Xanrillon, and its banana-shaped submoon, Xoruta, enakerbalia-jebus mesoa survived.

Burnillo hydro (Species 70) was the one of the two species to survive the previous turn. Like the rest of its descendants, it has a Hydrogenase and a Thermosynthase. Unlike its descendants, Burnillo hydro has a -1.5% Oxygen resistance. This species nearly died just from its Toxisome recharging. To make it even worse, its sibling cell died. And after this, Burnillo hydro became immobile from Ph and Salt shock at around one minute and forty-nine seconds into its turn. While it was dragged into a current along with Phopshate clouds. However, the organism was not along. It came across several enakerbalia-jebus mesoa (Mutant 53,54). When night fell in the Banana Biome, Xanrillon and Xoruta were covered in shadows. Slowly moving across the dispersed Iron Clouds, Burnillo hydro took damage as its organelles duplicated. Barely having much Glucose left, the organism managed to divide.

Cablevenian Estuary

Life once existed in the Cablevenian Estuary. However, that life has since perished. Vaporized by a Meteor impact. This leaves a unique opportunity for any organism that colonizes this patch. But like the Banana Biome, once must be weary of Improper Pressure tolerances. And the local Oxygen concentration is nearly 11%.

Chemelookie alpha (Mutant 58) of the Chemotillo genera was the only organism to be present in the Cablevenian Estuary. It was also the only organism with Chemosynthesizing Proteins. After a brief spat with damage from the Cytotoxin Toxisome charging due to improper Pressure Tolerances, the organism headed in a random direction. Fortunately, with 1.5% Oxygen Tolerance, it was abl to survive. Barely. With another encounter from the unfixable lag damage bug, Chemelookie alpha found its way to a cloud of Iron. This led to a cloud of Hydrogen Sulfide. While the organism attempted to engulf a small Sulfide chunk, it was unfortunately unable to do so. Then Chemelookie alpha became caught in a current looking for Phosphate. Just after being able to engulf a small Sulfur Chunk, the Ph and Salt concentrations changed suddenly, two minutes and forty-one seconds into its turn. However, this did not affect Chemelookie alpha.

…Forces deep within Treerilia continue to churn. Aluminum-undepleted Komatiite (AUK) Ultramafic lava spewed within the Yrinian Sea, creaing a new underwater landmass. The AUK lava came from a source less deep within the planet (~300 km), compared to the ADK lava. Slowly, more land is being built and changing the surface of Treerilia.

…Three Meteors burned brightly in the Treerilian atmosphere, as the Late Heavy Bombardment has begun. They strike the Cablevenian Tidepool, the Cablevenian Estuary, and the Yrinian Epipelagic. Revita Superstes (Mutant 55) – aah31415, Chemelookie obscura (Mutant 56) – CatSquared, Chemelookie fumes (Mutant 57) – Cha, and Chemelookie alpha (Mutant 58) – doomlightning have gone extinct.

Notes:

Note 1 - Ummm… I did not expect that almost everyone would be hit with Meteors. I hope we make it past the Late Heavy Bombardment.

Note 2 - Since JustaDumbThriver and Cha are still living, everyone else will have to wait until after they have chosen their organisms when I post the Options for Turn 12.

Note 3 - I am helping my family in real life with some things, so it will take some time for me to post the Options for Turn 12. Thank you for your understanding. :folded_hands:
