Turn 24

Turn 24 Summary:

1.075 Billion Years after the formation of the Phyade I System, the Treerilia-Xanrilla-mini-Xoruta planetary system evolves evermore. The Panspermium Family Clade (or Thrivium Kingdom Clade if continuing from Phase I) has now evolved organisms with predatory characterisitics (Pilus and/or Toxisome) in both biomes, which will test the burgeoning life. True Plate Tectonics is still slowly increasing, yet the pressure overlapping rocks has not built up, as no Tsunamis occurred near the Oaitic (0.284) continent. Also, Upwellings are continuing in the Lecarenese and Mosbobasese oceans, along with Vent Eruptions in the Mosbobasese Volcanic Vent. Like last time, no Ph and Salt Shock occurs on land (0.204) or oceans (0.700). Additionally, the remaining Oxygen in the atmosphere has slowly continued to diffuse and change the surface of the planet, starting to cause some changes in the atmosphere.

Unovaskysian Epipelagic

hero-postus Xethwist (Species 112) of the hero-postus Genera Clade still exists. One of the heroes of this story headed approximately 59 degrees (1.034 radians) Northeast. After dealing with 1/3 of its health lost due to Toxisome charging, the organism had to struggle with strong currents. And then the unfixable lag damage bug came along to do more damage. When encountering a member of Xethwist Retox (Mutant 92), a group of the same hero-postus species attempted to fire toxins on the mutant to no avail. Even more alarming was the fact that Glucose had nearly completely run out. Only finding a cloud of Phosphate. Spoiler alert, hero-postus Xethwist (Species 112) dies. But since the organism has 61T population left, this means hero-postus Xethwist (Species 112) can live once more. Only to die, again. At least hero-postus Xethwist escaped viral attack (0.382) before going extinct.

Xethwist Retox (Mutant 92) evolved to become smaller, giving the toxic organism a higher ATP balance and faster forward speed. Headnig 249 degrees (4.354 radians) Southwest, it did not encounter the unfixable lag damage bug. It did encounter a group of hero-postus Xethwist (Species 112). The genotoxic organism avoided a virus paticle (0.490) hidden in a Phophaste and Ammonia cloud, but died just before it could make it to division. (Angrily throws a pen across the room) Xethwist Retox became extinct an inopportune moment.

Karmaric Epipelagic – a biome not basked in the lights but also not eternally dark…

Chemoauto Grando (Species 115) of the airemelpara Genera Clade continues to survive amongst its new descendants. Heading approximately 193 degrees (3.365 radians) West by Southwest as the Phyade I star rises in the Karmaric sky. After a short while, it encountered some airemelpara gimel-dalet (Species 120). Finding a reasonable sized cloud of Phosphate and Ammonia, some (Mutant 97) tried to steal some resources. A strong current started, and blew in some virus particles, which were successfully avoided (0.845). While going on an excursion, a few Chemogrando depigmo (Mutant 94,95) managed to eat some airemelpara gimel-dalet (Species 120). Being larger due to organelles duplicating, the organism automatically snagged one member of (Mutant 97).

Chemogrando depigmo (Mutant 94,95) of the Chemoauto Species Clade lost its Melanokoids. The depigmented organism went approximately 213 degrees Southwest. It encountered a large group of airemelpara gimel-dalet (Species 120), but could not engulf of any of them. From the opposite side, groups of Chemoauto Grando (Species 115) and Debrecenis magyaris (Mutant 96) came and scattered the group of Species 120, each managing to get some piece of the action. Chemogrando depigmo then found itself in a dead zone of resources, avoiding some Virus particles in the currents (0.451). Somehow, despite being right next to a member of airemelpara gimel-dalet, the smaller organism managedto escape. Now out of the Glucose, the worst was yet to come. The grand chemo organism attempted to eat (Mutant 97), even though it was the same size at it, giving more damage. And then the sulfur-loving organism encountered gimel-dalet spine (Mutant 98). The organism attempted to manuveor away from the spiky organism, as more Species 120 started to enter the area. Just then, a group of fellow Chemogrando depigmo scared away the potential prey organism. A Veneficium Cyanidum (Mutant 99) noticed the dying organism, as it completely lost its health. Chemogrando depigmo (Mutant 94,95) became extinct to due losing its Glucose from being scared to death of toxic and spiky organisms.

Debrecenis magyaris (Mutant 96) has gained an additional Hydrogenase. Going approximately 297 degrees (5.192 radians) South by Southeast. Once done struggling with the currents, the organism found a large cloud of Glucose and Phosphate. A member of Chemogrando depigmo (Mutant 94,95) came and took some resources without permission. Even more alarming was the significant amount of Virus particles being brought in by the current with the Phyade I star setting in the sky, but fortunately, the organism managed to evade the Virus particles (0.521). It just chilled in the Glucose cloud during the nigh until the light came back.

airemelpara gimel-dalet (Species 120), the base species of the gimel-dalet Species Clade, continues to endure. This tiny organism went approximatel 208 degrees (3.636 radians) West by Southwest, encountering the same dead zone of resources as other species. With its Hydrogen Sulfide reserves exhausted, it slowly began to run out of Glucose as well. It encountered fellow members of the gimel-dalet Species Clade, gimel-dalet spine (Mutant 98) and Veneficium Cyanidum (Mutant 99). While it did find a lot of Phosphate, what it really needed was Glucose. The strong current even pushed the alphabet organism into a poison cloud, despite its best efforts to swim the other way. The organism managed to avoid viral particles (0.32), but it could not save itself from death. On its second life, its life was not any better. While it did find an Ammonia cloud, the rate limiting step was Glucose. It even found a nice large mixed resource cloud of Ammonia and Phosphate, but times was just not on its side. Did you hear the tragic extinction of airemelpara gimel-dalet (Species 120) the wise?

(Mutant 97) evolved a Melanokoids, giving the organism extra ATP from light. Headed approximately 50 degrees (0.872 radians) Northeast. It immediately came upon a group of Chemoauto Grando (Species 115), but fortunately, they were too far away to chase after the organism. A member of airemelpara gimel-dalet (Species 120) then zipped across the area trying to move against the current, with one member of Species 120 accidentally bumping into (Mutant 97). If (Mutant 97) had been from a different Species Clade, it would have been able to eat the small airemelpara gimel-dalet. A small group of Debrecenis magyaris (Mutant 96) were following it, and (Mutant 97) steered clear from them, as they managed to get a different member of Species 120. Eventually in its travels, the mutant organism came across a great microbe battle, where Chemoauto Grando (Species 115) and Debrecenis magyaris (Mutant 96) were attempting to eat airemelpara gimel-dalet (Species 120) and gimel-dalet spine (Mutant 98), with the respective spiky organism fighting back. During the fray, (Mutant 97) became infected with a Virus particle (0.032), and the organism was not immune to Virus particle (0.518). doomlightning became extinct from a bad microbial cold.

gimel-dalet spine (Mutant 98) evolved a Peforator Pilus, which makes this organism far more deadly. It went approximately 214 degrees (3.734 radians) Southwest. In only a few seconds, the spiky organism took some damage from the unfixable lag damage bug. After some time with the Phyade I star coming up and struggling the currents, the organism ran into some airemelpara gimel-dalet (Species 120). With Xanrillon visible in the Treerilia sky, gimel-dalet spine began to run out of Hydrogen Sulfide and Glucose reserves. While the spiky organism managed to delfect some Virus particles using its Pilus (0.434), it did not find any Glucose clouds in site. There was a cloud of Phosphate nearby. gimel-dalet spine (Mutant 98) went extinct due to running out of Glucose in a dead zone of resources.

Veneficium Cyanidum (Mutant 99) was the other deadly organism in the gimel-dalet Species Clade, having evolved a Cytotoxic Toxisome. It headed 298 degrees (5.21 radians) South by Southeast, but not before taking damage from the Toxisome charging up. It eventually managed to find a small resource cloud of Glucose and Ammonia. The toxic organism hunkered down inside the small resource cloud as night fell on Treerilia. Which was a good strategy, as it made it to cell division.

…Small Granitic Eruptions occured in Gorkonramic Coastal, Gorkonramic Underwater cave, and Oaitic Tidepool, creating a little bit more land. No organisms are affected.

…A Meteor the size of a double decker bus misses Treerilia, instead hitting the Mars-sized moon Xanrillon, and slightly altering the tidal-locked orbit of the mini-submoon mini-Xoruta.

Notes:

Note 1 – It is too bad the Xethwist lineage died off. I thought one member of the lineage would survive. Perhaps another organism will evolve Ether-linkage Hydrocarbon Membrane in the future. Based on how many organisms died, I was scared that everyone might die again. Good thing that did not happen.

Note 2 – doomlightning will be able to choose an organism when I post the Options for Turn 24. One of these turns, Horizontal Gene Transfer should happen. Hopefully.

Note 3 – Since next turn will be the equivalent of Turn 6 in a regular Thrive game, or 600 Million Years, everyone will be able to choose to go a new biome when I post the Options. I don’t know when the next version of Thrive will be coming out, so the world may or may not change again.

Note 4 – I will be doing some research this semester during University. This, being combined with my classes, means turns for this FG will come slower. For now, I will try my best to stick to within two weeks, but the gap might extend to three weeks depending on my workload.

What would be your organism’s favorite color?
