When I simulate Proteorhodospin, I turn off both the Photosynthesis and Cytosolic Glycolysis. When I simulate Melanokoids, I only turn off the Photosynthesis process.

Also I suppose some things could be going on if one had both slime jets and photeor?

Right no idea how to do that but I can see my little guy is running a deficit in my game at least, so not good (even without the nucleus) though I suppose it can live without that extra it just movement that gets cut. But oh well it worked this far it will probably work a bit more.

Since Cytoplasm is still turned on (Cytoplasm Glycolysis =/= Cytosolic Glycolysis), Mucus is still produced.

Eh, I think part tolerance impact is only going to be added in 0.8.2.

In case people are wondering on how I decide which organism goes to which of the new Niches:

For Hex changes: Addition/Deletion/Substitution > Hex Position > Hex Rotation/Orientation.

For Membrane changes: Membrane Type > Membrane Rigidity > Membrane Color.

For Behavior changes: Depends on environment; any change, as long as Activity ≠ 0.

For Reproduction Order changes: Depends on environment; as long as the organism survives.

For Tolerance changes: Depends on environment; as long as the organism survives and osmregulation cost ≤ +20%.

In all cases, the more changes in each individual category, the better, unless it is detrimental.

If two organisms have the same number of changes in the same category, then the better combination wins out.

In the current game version (not the next one coming up), during my test runs, it seems like the biggest issue was higher osmoregulation cost and lowered health from too much oxygen. So Hydrogenase does not stop working from too much oxygen, at least for now.

I suppose in the future to come hydrogenase would lower oxygen tolerance instead of shutting down if there’s too much oxygen.

I will try to get to Turn 11 before I go on vacation in the beginning of summer (start of the next month). After that, the FG may take longer for turns to be posted.
