I remember seeing an image of an certain copypasta pasted on that site that showed an really low iq, it said something like “extreme mental belgiumation”.
i think it would say it needs more variety
Then just button smash more
I think the site is messing up some labels. With a standard deviation of 15, 145+ is genius IQ.
This is how I categorize IQ (SD = 15 + rounding to nearest whole number):
25 or lower – Profoundly delayed
26 - 40 – Exceptionally Delayed
41 - 55 – Highly Delayed
56 - 70 – Moderately Delayed
71 - 85 – Mildly Delayed
86 - 114 – Average
115 - 129 – Mildly Gifted
130 - 144 – Moderately Gifted
145 - 159 – Highly Gifted
160 - 174 – Exceptionally Gifted
175+ – Profoundly Gifted
I think I heard one time that Dolphins would have the IQ around 3-4.
I think you missed that “superintelligence” refers to an ASI.
Does vocabulary affect IQ? Just asking.
I’m getting 2 reasonably likely meanings to this question. The first is that it is asking whether vocabulary is valid on IQ tests, while the second is asking whether increasing vocabulary affects IQ. What are you asking here?
Vocabulary does not affect IQ, and neither is vocabulary affected by IQ. As vocabulary is dependant on knowledge and is something that can be trained.
Can be both (first one was the reason I posted) but frale answered both just now.
meaning that website is Completely Useless!(well, not completely, as IQ affects the speed you learn at, but still) and its intended purpose is based off of flawed logic!
What if someone with average IQ just studied a lot more than a gifted person and ended up with an identical vocabulary? Learning speed should be tested by being asked to learn a variety of tasks or learn a task containing aspects from many “types” of tasks, if these “types” even exist in the cognitive world, not through knowledge.
wait an second… you joined in 2022… and the minimal age for entering the forum is 13…
CRIMINAL!
I am 13 now, though. I also did not see a minimum age rule when I first joined. I believe that my pointing out of the rule led to the adding of the rule to the official list (though I haven’t seen it upon checking today).
Also, if you aren’t calling me “CRIMINAL!” as just a joke, it really isn’t illegal for a user to lie about their age.
Famously, you can get a higher IQ score on a given test if you take multiple times. You can practice it, I call that training. IQ was supposed to be unchanging for an individual and represent a person’s inate intelligence but that’s not easy so it wound up as just another test.
It’s a lot less legal than one would assume, it’s less that it isn’t illegal and more that it isn’t enforceable and no one cares. However, the thrive forum Eula or just general rules would be broken if this is true, so you would be breakong at least that rule, if we generalize criminal to any rule breaker. It’s better as a joke though.
Check this out.
That sounds like a very horrible idea
Pretty sure this is the first time when somebody used this feature on the forum to store an image. Nice!
