Living in the Underground

Good.
Are there any underwater caves nearby accessible to us?

Yeah, and they will be the only places in the crust large enough to support anything larger than a rotifer or water bear.

And the open waters also summon creatures larger than this?

Yes, so if you want to get out of the micro realm, go to the caves or open oceans.

And we are in open waters now, right?

No, you are still in the crust cracks.

What is required for us to leave for the open waters?

Tolerance of 1 bar and 5 celsius should do.

Right now what are our tolerances in these fields?

270 bar and 60 celsius.

How many rounds are needed to change our tolerances to the open water values?

Around 5 is needed to change the tolerance. You can use the upper crust as a transition, as it has pressure of 150-60 bar. The middle crust is around 400-160 bar. Above the uppercrust is the semi-crust, around 50-10 bar. So yeah, transitional patch moving.

How large are the cracks even? How deep do they go?

The cracks are around 2 centimeters wide, which is why all the organisms are so tiny.

Yes but how deep do they go into the crust/ocean floor?

Middle is 4-2km, upper is 2-0.5km, semi is 500-100m.

If there is middle, are there also like “Far” crack subtypes?

Yeah, they range from 8-4km deep.

Not sure anyone would be willing to go into these…

They provide oppurtunity, a niche. They won’t have competition, so they have an incentive to move there.
