By turning lithium into energy, is the lithium destroyed?

No, it’s just thrown out into the weirdly conductive ocean as waste.

Will it eventually build up into islands and stuff?

Here’s the new creature deisgns:
For P. botanicus

And for P. invertus

Also for the non-player creature P. agilis (named due to it’s speed)

Would probably just expand the coastlines. But hey, islands not attached to the seabed and instead just float on the surface would be the coolest place to live!

Could such floating platforms eventually cover all the waters?

I imagine it like this

It has some reaction cycles but lithium is in their shells to protect from enviromental hazards.

Probably. But realistically the islands might be able to dissolve so who knows.

How much does it cost to move around mechanical organelles?

I’ll say 5 EP for moving them around.

The ocean can only dissolve so much lithium within…

It might pile up at the seafloor.

Where’s @domin2ktr ?

Luckily, I have an image for when someone is not voting! (I have stolen it from aah btw)

Wouldn’t that raise the sea level?

Lithium can react with water at certain conditions, it’s also a redox reaction

Will we be using hydraulics instead of myofibrils at macroscopic scales?

Yeah, which means MORE area for the islands to cover to completely block out the sun for the ocean!

But wouldn’t other organisms eat the excess lithium?
