Multicellular stage (not spawning in colony)

i dont know if anyone else has experienced this but everytime i use multicellular stage editor whenever i spawn in the cell it makes me control just dosent join the colony and cant enter the colony while the colony just floats away is this supposed to happen? im pretty sure im supposed to be part of the colony

Welcome to the forum, @Dudeski! This is meant to happen. When you exit the Multicellular editor, you start out as a single cell again. Other cells you placed in the Multicellular Editor will slowly start to appear over time from gathering resources and passive reproduction.

This is the budding reproduction type and how it works. It for now is the sole reproduction type of multicellular stage.
