My exobiology project: The Yagarian System

What do you plan on doing next with the project?

probably flesh up better my piscium concepts, try to apply some ideas dawn gave me and then start thinking on a extinction event.

How far ahead have you planned out the β€œplotline” of this project?

actually, my inicial idea was lets not plan anything and see where the belgium evolution will take me but then i realized it was an terrible, like really bad mentality for any creative process. actually you’re supposed to first make an skeleton of the thing you want, and then go fleshing it out and addying details. but of course 2023 me didn’t knew that.
anyways, i already have some stuff planned for when we have an sapient species, im not going to spoil everything but the fact that Wilba has large uranium deposits will be very important.

Oh, so you’ve planned for when the species go spacefaring already?

I made this Meoowhale pixel art like my Meoowis one from over a year ago. I hope you enjoy!

Well it certainly doesn’t look like a terran whale, so that’s :+1:.

@Trappist-1e, are you planning to play as these organisms in Thrive?

Maybe one day they will. These species should be well into what Thrive’s macroscopic and aware stages would be capable of creating, perhaps even with autoevo itself one day…

We can only hope for it.

And let’s hope autoevo will find more devs of the devforce knowing how to upgrade it well over the new stages…

pretty much yes. this whole project was also an way to play thrive by myself due to being impatient

It will still take a while to get the project irl…
By the way, I need you to do something about your redwood tree summoning action in TL, otherwise I cannot write it’s next round…

well well well…
my school breaks finally arrived…
which means one singular thing…
THIS THING IS NOT DEAD!

First of all, i’ve been reworking on some things. for starters, i realized having just two animal phylum would not make sense, considering the diversity we have irl. So i made this very rough draft showing the phylogeny during the Torsian. The main ramification was in between radial and bilateral symmetry.

I also drew out the general family tree of three phylas here showed.

phylum

As you can see, i still need to works on 3 phyla, and give names to them all. I just named the trilobites looking fellas, Armataeforma.
Another thing i need to mention is that Dawn/Willow brought light to me regarding how awfully inaccurate was the way i dealed with unicellular organisms, so that will be also reworked too.

feel free to ask anything

Speaking of (not to sound rude), what’s been going on with them lately? I haven’t seen them around here recently, for like 3 weeks now.

oh they were been more active on discord, and they’re occupied doing other things are aren’t thrive related

I see. I do hope they will return in here from time to time…

Now for the project, do you plan to focus solely on the microbes for the next entry?

I quite have no idea, really. I was fundamentally wrong at everything after Vita Originalis so i will need to flesh out and rewrite the entire part in between life forming and the great oxigenation event, and then after i finish all phylas, THEN i would keep advancing in time

Do you think this rewrite will make the β€œnew” biota unrecognizable to what we’ve had at the end of the shared times so far?

Not really, i like how my critters had turned out to this point, and any changes will most add new features than remove them.
Most of the effects the changes will have are yet to be seen.
