No oxygen

uh, so every world i spawn in has no oxygen now matter the patch? i don’t have experimental features on so idk what’s happening.

That’s because Oxygen is dynamic now. Cells must first develop photosynthesis for Oxygen to accumulate in the patches, and only then it can be used for breathing. Not a bug, a feature it is.

Yep, exactly. We got dynamic environments a few releases ago which means that the world starts off with 0 oxygen and only once species evolve that produce it, does any oxygen appear.

I can guess we might be seeing a few returners from the older times confused about this change as Thrive attracts them back…
