Mutation uno: Larger size (Ik it won’t do anything to stats but I am using it to increase foraging as it allows for a wider range for the neck to eat without the body needing to move as often)

What will happen to those who don’t upgrade their brain to tier 1 on time, cat^2?
There isn’t a punishment for not upgrading, more of a benefit for upgrading. You can still upgrade it later, but the sooner the better.

I advise it, and the ones without Tier 1 may be out competed, but they’re not necessarily doomed.

the neurons are still limited by the processing speed of the cell, since only the axons are using light(which just eliminates the effect of distance between neurons unless you’re the size of a blue whale or bigger, with a decentralized brain), so while they think much faster, it is still nowhere near the speed of light(about 100x faster than before at maximum), and thinking at the speed of light requires a complete rework of the brain(each step of which will give +1 int) to actually make it process with light
oh and since pressure is force over area, does being smaller give you a pressure resistance multiplier?
M1: light logic gates(with interference based not gates, where a light source is pointing into the output, and the input light hits the beam going into the output, knocking the light that would’ve gone into the output away)
M2: remove the now useless myelin sheathing and increase refractive index of axon membranes to make them better at directing light
oh and can we have a list of what patches require what adaptations?

There are also islands apparently scattered close to our continent… It will probably take some time before we get to the first of them due to the oceans’ requirements.
