Round Summary
The emergency UN meeting concludes with countries across the globe putting stronger anti-ant regulations to life. How many more countries will TO be able to take over in the directmost future?
The Organism Report
TO would manage to fix the suboptimal parts of it’s ganglion-regrowing mutation, however this didn’t pass onto the already laid eggs (+50 ME). The ant would then lay a new set of eggs for logic and math, but they happened to use the same errorous genes as the previous eggs (+25 MH, +25 ME).
After this rather disappointing experience with the ganglion-making eggs, TO would go on and create two tower-centric castes: one for creating bone-like tissue and the other for making flesh-like tissue (+125 MH, +100 S, @Nigel please submit a minor mutation related to the bone caste). Some members of the bone-weaving caste were created and immediately ordered to coat the metal structure making up the core of the tower with bone (+25 meters to tower stability limit every round). Meanwhile members of the flesh-weaving caste would start creating fleshy structures with many purposes - helping the friendly and killing the hostile (+25 MH, +25 S).
Influence Report
Whilst the international situation would surely not advocate for it, some news companies in Costa Rica and Honduras have been infiltrated by diplomats that had lots of money given by the Nicaraguan Treasury, with the ones sent to Costa Rica also finding the local ant colony here and using it to exert control on the scale of the whole country (Honduras → Regional Influence, Costa Rica → Country-Scale Influence). During these infiltrations, the government of Nicaragua would try to convince other countries to lift their regulations, but that doesn’t seem to be a very convincing message, especially as it has been sent from a country thought to have been overtaken by ademocratic ants.
