That’s what my first action was. Though I did accidentally word it as an EU-like union. I meant as if they are still partially self governing, but the union still has power over them, and can overule them, and the union has control over the military.
By a “superstate” I meant expanding what will be created next round across more of the two continents.

As it was said at the beginning of the game - the goal of our ant is the destruction of humanity.

Round Summary
From the tempo of actions TO is taking, one could guess that for some reason it’s as if something changed with how mutations and actions occur for this being, causing the speed of these things to be boosted…
The Organism Report
It would come to TO’s attention that the mutation which allowed it to recycle more “failed” research ideas came in handy already a couple of times, and so it decided to refine this capability. Thankfully the changes within the body just happened to line up with what the and wanted, resulting in a superior recovery system (Research Actions of 1 no longer possible, @willow please submit a minor mutation related to researching). Using it’s internet capabilities, TO would also figure out where and how do certain two sorts of unicellular entities live (C. Tepidum and Yeast Habitat Knowledge).
Obviously once more the tower grew in height thanks to the effort, tears and sweat of TO, which carried large amounts of material to increase this skyscraper to immense heights. It won’t take long before 2 kilometer barrier is breached (+225 tower meters).
The recently developed nozzles on the spiracles would suddenly experience a mutation during the works on the tower, now exhausting fumes and sometimes even fire (+50 MH, +50 S, @Trappist-1e please submit a minor mutations related to combustion)! One thing the ant tested right after the mutation finalized was to fly high up and check how to move in 0G. While initially confusing, the brain of TO quickly rewired itself to deal in such situations if any occur into the future (0G movement).
Interesting enough after the high-atmosphe experience TO would experience a very mild mutation to it’s exoskeleton, making it even harder by introducing minerals and structures similar to teeth of limpets (+50 MH).
What would occur after this rather insignificant mutation would however turn out to be shocking. Some of the crops planted by the ants at the site of the nest some days ago have already matured, and time came for a harvest. However, for some unknowable reason, not only were the crops harvested, but so were the plentiful of humans and even random animals and other plants left remaining in the colony! The “harvest” was so swift that seemingly no one beyond the nest noticed it for now, but soon enough people will realize that some of their close ones haven’t returned home (+400 R, +25 TO kills, -200 World Population)
Influence Report
The diplomats in the four countries conquered by the ants so far didn’t wait long before taking large steps towards a more ant-dominated world. In name of TO, these smart arthropods would soon enough declare the creation of the “Formic Union”, a political entity not yet recognized on the international stage, though de facto controlling the territory of all of Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Panama. Corruption and Opposition was too purged in this new Union in matter of hours on the highest ranks at least, making the new state stabler. Finally, FU and the various ant diplomats would send messages to ACC, saying that the human nations should first see how much the ants help with governing before any violent actions, something the diplomats considered was not respected by ACC up to this point. Somehow, the rather anti-formic coalition agreed to pause all activities for two days for now (until the start of May 10th), to see if the new union in Central America will prove to be superior to other countries in various fields and metrics.
Some more scout teams of moderate and above-average quality were produced…
