Itโs probably also good to prevent animals FROM going extinct.
Your scientists were so preoccupied with whether or not they could, they didnโt stop to think if they should.

I donโt think apocalypse would stem from making some olden animals alive againโฆ
Assuming we donโt also accidentally recreate the viruses that infected those organisms along with attempting to bring back those said organisms.
Arthropleura in the thumbnail!
Of course itโs there, it 's a carboniferous mascot afterall.
I think that would require the second type, the third is more likely to bring genetic disorders/immunity problems, which could potentially be spread through cross breeding with similar species. Things like Sickle Cell, weak Hearts, and high Blood Pressure are not contagious viruses, but they are still things you might not want becoming more common within the genre.
The โimageโ you linked also seems to be embedded incorrectlyโฆ
It seems like the quote is incorrect, it references post post:2073, topic:7198 which hasnโt happened yet (and wonโt until someone replies to me)
Edit: actually looks like the post did happen already, I was looking at the post scrollbar which removes hidden items from it.
It seems like quotes just look like that with the new discourse update as theyโve probably changed some CSS.
Edit: 2 I removed that one specific CSS rule that was causing the wide avatar in quotes. Iโm not sure what else that will then break. I suppose eventually we need to abandon the current hacked together forum theme and select a new blue/dark theme and recustomize it with the background image and big avatars (if there isnโt a theme like that already).
Maybe we could get โcreepy video postingโ thread one dayโฆ
ima be honest. I donโt like the new css. itโs weird and overly stylized. discouse seems like a very efficient interface and does not need all the little icons. In specific
this guy
is ugly and distracts from the overall color scheme this site otherwise keeps up. Also the new notification dots are too tall and make that interface less efficient. (these are nitpicks, i donโt care too much)
If you mean the โincorrectโ spelling underline, I think the thing is to keep it consistent with itโs other instances which is why it doesnโt necessarily fit discourse.
Probably referring to the new toggle between the rich text editor and plain markdown mode where thereโs the separate preview box.
About it, I think perhaps the preview mode shouldโve been turned on by default instead of it being disabled since the former is what weโve been used to for so longโฆ
