Pretty sure some visuals in there aren’t very accurate, similar to many “tornado size comparison” videos.

I just replaced it with the older version of the video, which has more accurate visuals, strangely enough.

For comparison, VEI 8 eruptions like Toba and the largest Yellowstone eruption have >1,000 km squared of material.

Fortunately those more dangerous eruptions also take a lot longer to process through.
