Does any Microsoft account work, or it have to be the one tied to your computer?

I am not sure, it wouldn’t let me update because I actually don’t have a Microsoft account. But my mom does, and I don’t think its tied to a specific computer. Her automatic updates are working fine.

I wonder if MS will continue the updates even after the “extra final” EoL considering how many people still use Win10
