I think bacteria would rather communicate via chemicals and stuff and not sounds?

they do, thats what im saying. The chemicals they use can effect your mood, and they can and do use that specifically to communicate with you. If you feel down its probably because the bacteria are complaining.

up to research and debate, we’ll know in a few decades unless all other nations defund science as much as the US has. as far as what it would be like:

everything would suck and you’d be sick and depressed and hate the bathroom and the doctors would have to give you a fecal matter transplant and a bunch of probiotics, and possibly mean bacteria would take advantage first and colonize your gut so you’d need antibiotics too, and most likely youd hate everything for a long time.

we probably won’t need to kill peoples bacteria to learn how much the integrate with our brains, antibiotic overuse, modern urban living, weird diets, and horrible chemicals everywhere will kill people’s gut biomes for us, so we can just study them before and while they recover.
