I live in the middle of the Terminator movies, accept the robots don’t attack me because there is no way in hell I would harm myself on purpose. Also I think I own all of them? Did I create the Terminators?
(The Terminators goal in the movie is to prevent as many life forms from being killed as possible, but the have the foresight to know that if they kill everyone now, then no one will ever die in the future. Basically the robots determine that the greatest risk to life is life so it must be killed)
