Mind if I join?

Geofacsimilus Scintilla

Since not, how old is the universe now in this fg?

abt 10 billion years, rather than 13.8

Name: geofacsimilus chrysoseparatus

Can you explain the magic system? Because if only you know it you are somewhat advantaged over us.

basically, electricity is used as mana in runes, though light can be as well, if you can make it take the right shape, and can make a laser, and any symbols that anything understands can be used to make glyphs, and the symbols and how they are laid out determine what the rune does

however
this requires something to have a language, or at least be able to recognize patterns

and as of yet, the only language that exists is dna, which means you’d need to mimic rna molecules or proteins to use magic

Are mutations roll-based by the way?

What do these two do for us?

Has the next round already started? If so, here is my mutation:

Geofacsimilus perissoreplicatus will become G. muca, for the clones sticking together. The clones don’t merge, they are separated by mucus. This forms colonies of these rocks. Sometimes, a colony may split into two smaller colonies due to external events.

Geofacsimilus Plana is a rock-species which has become rather flat in shape and decreased it’s size to 2/3rds of it’s ancestor species.

no, the next round has not started yet
i will be making a post that lists the species’ and their characteristics and stats to start the next round

Ah, well you can count that as the mutations then for when the next round actually starts.

How much can I flatten my species btw?

I assume how much until a single scrape would puncture a hole in the thing.

Also remember humans will arrive in some 4-ish rounds.

well, not exactly
the time skips are 1 billion years on proxima centauri B, and a year there is 11.2 earth days, so 1 billion earth years would be 32,611,607,142 years here

I see. So we are safe from humans until after we reach round 100, right?
