imagine making a religion that allows you to just ask one being for forgiveness of all of your sins instead of the people they affected.
also, didn’t jesus die for all of your sins? he has to live out the sentences so really all you have to think about is the morality of putting someone else through that if you are Christian so you won’t go to hell because of one person having all the debt in the world transferred to their card

• not death but the pain that comes with death
• The fact that if we encounter aliens or a godlike entity, they could be evil
• The fact I probably won’t live long enough to see time travel, ftl travel, mars colonisation, and thrive be a thing
• The fact that stuff like alcohol and hitting your head can change your personality

Those are scifi fantasy techs, they aren’t coming ever unless the known physics is a facade for something entirely different to what we know

Yes, but if we could somehow change or bypass the laws of physics they could happen, then again it’s unlikely…

How does one change the fabric of the universe? I feel like even if that was possible it’d be extremely risky since you could probably turn the universe into an unsurvivable wasteland just by messing around it a bit

Possibly utilizing the possibility that black holes have pocket dimensions, and then making a black hole until you get the laws of physics you want, although this would be hard and probably impossible, I should think on this more…

Since if a simulation is possible to happen once, then it’s likely to happen for fun or research by some other civ

If it was highly advanced, like a type IV Civillization, then again it is more likely to happen for researches sake

Doesn’t regular kardashew scale only extend to type III civs, being able to harness a galaxy’s power output completely?

Yes, although type IV is more likely imo, although the further into the scale you go the less likely to be possible it becomes
