i know that, it could be indefinitely prolonged by the creation of matter which would protect sapient life from all going extinct though. part of the SCP foundation’s name is protect and their goal is to protect humanity from anything that, A: is anomalous, or B: could end humanity, hence why the yellowstone park ranger post scp was made, to protect humanity from extinction itself by reviving it

you can remove the membrane and the cytoplasm is still alive?

yes, but not for long.

put any you find in strong containers that resist expansion and are water tight

even if it the container is made from neutroneum, eventually the expanding amoeba mass would apply enough pressure to burst it. you said the amoeba was resistant to becoming a black hole,

the resistance to exploding isn’t to prevent an explosion, it’s to postpone it until the container is a significant distance from the milky way

and yeet it at a percentage of the speed of light, preferably above 50

but we only have modern technology and other scp’s

other scps are sufficient for that, or a really big railgun.
